Chuck Wutzke
Owner - Bonavista Truck and Auto
Chuck started working with his team in 2004. He started the business with a background in heavy duty diesel mechanics, fabrication, welding and construction. For the past 6 years he has been working to build "Simply The Best Garage in Town." The business emphasis is on quality workmanship and complete customer satisfaction.
Curly Panchiv
Service Manager, Licensed Master Technician and really nice guy!
Curly started out his career working for a GM Dealership where he completed his apprenticeship and earned Interprovincial Certification and also obtained his license as a Parts Person. Curly has every factory GM, Toyota and Ford training courses available. He served as a fixed operations manager for both a GM and Toyota dealerships. He has 33 years experience in the automotive industry.
Curly is dedicated to friendly, knowledgeable and quality service for our customers.
Gale Panchiv
Parts Manager
Gale has 22 years experience in the automotive parts industry.
Gale is an integral part of the team; she keeps up with the best deals on quality parts for our customers.
Interesting note: Gale raced Super Stock cars for 5 years.
Jason Panchiv
Licensed Master Technician.
15 years experience in the automotive service industry
Specializes in computer diagnostics for both gas and diesel cars and light trucks
Experience with all major domestic and import vehicles included factory training courses for each. Jay has a keen interest in the automotive industry and keeps up on all the latest innovations and developments.
Brian Darras
Licensed Master Technician
37 years experience in the automotive service industry – that makes for some dedicated third generation customers!
Specializes in after-market air conditioning and fuel injection and drive line re-building.
Completed all factory training courses for all major domestic and import vehicles.
Jon McLean
Third Year Apprentice
Jon started sweeping floors and cleaning up for the mechanics…
Enrolled in the Automotive Technicians Apprenticeship Program at SAIT. He is training with our team and working to achieve his Red Seal as an Automotive Technician. Showing great talent in electronic diagnosis.
Interesting note: Jon is a drummer in a band called Nosis.
Ryan Metcalfe
First Year Apprentice
Enrolled in the Automotive Technicians Apprentice Program at SAIT.
Ryan is a licensed plumber who has always had an interest in cars and he has decided to obtain his Red Seal as an Automotive Technician.
